One of the seasoned talents that Iceland has birthed is this 55-year old singer and songwriter. She occasionally features in movies and is a multi-instrumentalist and producer. Bjork studied classical music at the age of 11. That’s pretty much when her music career kicked off.

By the year 1979, Bjork was already a mega-hit in Iceland, singing several pop song covers and a few originals. Although all her fame remained in Iceland at the time, her growth and talent have led to the widespread knowledge and acceptance of her kind of music. Olafur Arnalds

Olafur Arnalds was born in 1986 and has built a good name and reputation (music-wise) in the Icelandic music industry. Olafur is a composer and performer whose love for music was deeply expressed and felt in his first studio album, Eulogy for Evolution.
